Sweet Pea Pageants

Sweet Pea Pageants

I am so excited to announce that the Lower Mainland Children’s Directory will be a proud sponsor of the Little Miss Sweet Pea Pageants again this year and not only will we be sponsoring the pageants but I will be on the judging panel for the upcoming Spooks and Sparkles Pageant taking place on October 23rd, 2010 at the Seaquam Theatre in North Delta!

Sweet Pea Pageants started in August 2009 and they are now celebrating their 1 st birthday! Sweet Pea organizers take pride in the fact that they were B.C.’s first natural pageant. They offer a natural competition, with no fake hair, teeth or tans. No swim suits or heavy make-up are allowed. Their pageants have all the fun of glitz pageants, with prizes, long stem roses, big theatres and even bigger crowns but they don’t have all of the big pageant fees and hidden costs to go with them. Their pageants are run by volunteers from the professional MC to the judges and onstage helpers. The pageants produced are funded by your pageant dollars and a few select business partners. There are NEVER any other fees or extras to purchase and registration fees are kept as low as possible.

Sweet Pea organizers always go all out – from having over 120 mylar balloons to making sure each girl goes home with long stem roses and real Czech crystal tiaras. Sweet Pea Pageants truly believe in putting on amazing productions for the contestants, family and friends. Each pageant is an event in itself, with different fun themes. They even have signature “chap packs” for the pageant moms & dads ~ with things such as water, snacks, wet wipes and more! There are fun draws and prizes for chaperones, audience members and of course the girls! We invite you to come and share in the fun of pageants with us at Sweet Pea Pageants!

Registration is open now for girls from 0-17 years old and boys from 0-5 years. Make sure you submit your registration by October 13th to participate in the Spooks and Sparkles Pageant or take advantage of the savings by getting it in before September 10th!
