The Connect Youth Conference 2011 will happen on February 18th from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm in Vancouver.
This is a opportunity for youth from around Vancouver and surrounding areas to come together and make a difference in the lives of others. Learn how to start a movement, get support for your cause and gain inspiration!
Youth Connect is a World Vision project about building a movement of youth across Canada who are using their skills, creativity, voice and energy to put an end to child suffering.
Visit the Youth Connect website to learn more about the movement and even apply to become a Youth Ambassador which sounds like a really great opportunity to get involved and experience new things! (If only I were 16 again!)
This is a really amazing program that deserves some recognition and I do hope that you all read about what Youth Connect is all about. Even if you have young ones at home they will fall into the “youth” category in the blink of an eye so read up on what opportunities could await them to better the world around them!
