There are loads of family friendly events happening all the time around the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. We are pretty fortunate to live in such a beautiful location with tons of ways to be active as a family and get out and have some fun.

Now some days after work,school, activities and obligations it is exhausting to think about adding yet another chore to the days roster but I’ve learned that one of the best ways to shake off the stress of the day and get ready for a good night sleep is getting out and getting some fresh air!

Healthy Family Expo has the answers for busy Lower Mainland parents at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Sunday, March 29th!
Parents will enjoy 100 exhibitors, shopping, food sampling, $10,000 Grand Prize Showcase, and hybrid vehicle test-driving, and kids can burn off steam in the huge Active Kid Zone, with a giant hamster ball track, rock climbing wall, bouncy castle, face painting, Tumblebus, run bike and sportball areas, fitness classes and Bobs & LoLo concerts at 11 am and 2 pm!
Last week the boy and his gal pal spent the week doing just that at the Circus Lab Spring Break camp. The camp was a great introduction to the fundamentals of Circus performing and was a great opportunity for them to stay active and challenge themselves both mentally and physically. The pros make it appear so effortless but all of the activities that they had the opportunity to experience were confirmed to be neither easy or effortless!
